Book Description :

The main purpose of this book is to serve as a source of spiritual information, enlightenment, wisdom, and guidance to those believing Muslims, as well as non-Muslims, to come to terms in reaffirming the fact that there is a creator (God). It is he who is responsible for the creation of the heavens, the earth, mankind, the angels, jinns, and all what is known and unknown in this universe. His creations include both the hidden and the unseen world of which very little is known to man. This is due to the fact that all sources of knowledge, power, and wisdom belongs to Allah. And he giveth or withdraweth any of these gifts to whom he wills.

Book Description :

Pinar Akdag is of Turkish descent and lives in Germany. She is an author, copywriter and project manager. Since her childhood, it has been her dream to be able to make a living from writing - and she is happy with her efforts now. Today, she dedicates herself to works fostering amicable and benevolent relations between cultures. She would like to show that there is riveting and valuable knowledge in Islam, which can be enriching for interested readers from the West as well as the whole world. Pinar Akdag has intensively addressed Islamic and Western worldviews since her youth, searching for ways and possibilities to bring these cultures into more harmonious coexistence. The author supports democracy, freedom and human rights. She wants to learn from all cultures, while everyone who chooses good and devotes themselves to it are her sisters and brothers. One of Pinar Akdag ́s foremost concerns is to remove the scales from our eyes and show - especially the devout - that the people of the world are one community; everyone can learn from each other; we should not close ourselves off, but be open to other cultures and learn from everyone.

Book Description :

This book investigates the problem of esoteric traditions in early Christianity, their origin and their transformation in Patristic hermeneutics, in the West as well as in the East. It argues that these traditions eventually formed the basis of nascent Christian mysticism in Late Antiquity. These esoteric traditions do not reflect the influence of Greek Mystery religions, as has often been claimed, but rather seem to stem from the Jewish background of Christianity. They were adopted by various Gnostic teachings, a fact which helps explaining their eventual disappearance from Patristic literature. The eleven chapters study each a different aspect of the problem, including the questions of Gnostic and Manichaean esotericism. This book will be of interest to all students of religious history in Late Antiquity. Revised and extended paperback edition. Originally published in 1996. Please click here for details.

"The Bible" is a collection of religious texts or scriptures sacred to Christians, Jews, Samaritans, Rastafari and others. It appears in the form of an anthology, a compilation of texts of a variety of forms that are all linked by the belief that they are collectively revelations of God. These texts include theologically-focused historical accounts, hymns, prayers, proverbs, parables, didactic letters, erotica, poetry, and prophecies. Believers also generally consider the Bible to be a product of divine inspiration. The Christian Old Testament overlaps with the Greek Septuagint and the Hebrew Bible. The Christian New Testament is a collection of writings by early Christians, believed to be mostly Jewish disciples of Christ, written in first-century Koine Greek._x000D_ "The Quran" is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation from Allah. Muslims regard the Quran as Muhammad's most important miracle; a proof of his prophethood; and the culmination of a series of divine messages. The Quran describes itself as a book of guidance for mankind. It offers detailed accounts of specific historical events, and it often emphasizes the moral significance of an event over its narrative sequence. The Quran consists of 114 chapters of varying lengths, each known as a sūrah. Chapters are classified as Meccan or Medinan, depending on whether the verses were revealed before or after the migration of Muhammad to the city of Medina. Each sūrah consists of several verses, known as āyāt, which originally means a "sign" or "evidence" sent by God.

Book Description :

From Egyptian mythology to Jewish mysticism, Rome and Greece to the druids and the gnostics, Tim WallaceMurphy exposes a fascinating lineage of hidden mysteries and secret societies, continuing through the Templars, Rosicrucians, and Freemasons to our modern visionaries. This hidden stream of spirituality and that of sacred knowledge are inseparably entwined to form the single most important continuous strand in the entire Western esoteric tradition. This tradition exerted a seminal influence on the thinking of the builders of the great cathedrals/ leading teachers in ecclesiastical schools/ philosophers/ playwrights/ poets such as Shakespeare, Goethe, Blake, and W. B. Yeats/ and on artists and Renaissance giants such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. It is also the root from which sprang alchemy and modern science. Now, as more people are looking to find information on the alternatives to dominant religions and dogmas that have told us what to think and how to behave, as faith has been questioned by religious scandals, economic meltdowns, and an increasingly sick planet Earth, WallaceMurphy reveals the secrets of the masters, including invaluable spiritual insights into everyday life that have been hidden throughout the ages. He shows us who kept this spiritual tradition alive despite appalling persecution, so that we in the twentyfirst century might benefit from its accumulated fruits and ennoble our lives. Hidden Wisdom will be of immense interest to readers of the number one bestseller The Lost Symbol as it explains much of Dan Brown's focus on the ancient mysteries.
