Book Description :

This highly anticipated second edition of Splitting includes new chapters on abuse, alienation, and false allegations; as well as information about the four types of domestic violence, protective orders, and child custody disputes. Are you divorcing someone who’s making the process as difficult as possible? Are they sending you nasty emails, falsifying the truth, putting your children in the middle, abusing you, or abusing the system? Are they “persuasive blamers,” manipulating and fooling court personnel to get them on their side? If so, you need this book. For more than ten years, Splitting has served as the ultimate guide for people divorcing a high conflict person, one who often has borderline or narcissistic (or even antisocial) personality disorder. Among other things, it has saved readers thousands of dollars, helped them keep custody of their children, and effectively guided them through a difficult legal and emotional process. Written by a family law attorney and therapist, and the author of Stop Walking on Eggshells, Splitting is an essential legal and psychological guide for anyone divorcing a persuasive blamer: someone who suffers from borderline personality disorder (BPD), narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), and/or antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). This second edition includes new information about antisocial personalities; expanded information about domestic violence, child abuse, alienation, and false allegations; how to approach protective orders and deal with child custody disputes; and a new chapter on how to successfully present your case to decision makers. Turn to this guide to help you: Predict what your spouse may do or say in court Take control of your case with assertiveness and strategic thinking Choose a lawyer who understands your case Learn how e-mails and social networking can be used against you If you need help navigating a high-conflict divorce from a manipulative spouse, this book includes all of the critical information you need to work through the process of divorce in an emotionally balanced, productive way.

Book Description :

Let $G$ be a compact Lie group, $\Pi$ be a normal subgroup of $G$, $\mathcal G=G/\Pi$, $X$ be a $\mathcal G$-space and $Y$ be a $G$-space. There are a number of results in the literature giving a direct sum decomposition of the group $[\Sigma^\infty X,\Sigma^\infty Y]_G$ of equivariant stable homotopy classes of maps from $X$ to $Y$. Here, these results are extended to a decomposition of the group $[B,C]_G$ of equivariant stable homotopy classes of maps from an arbitrary finite $\mathcal G$-CW sptrum $B$ to any $G$-spectrum $C$ carrying a geometric splitting (a new type of structure introduced here). Any naive $G$-spectrum, and any spectrum derived from such by a change of universe functor, carries a geometric splitting. Our decomposition of $[B,C]_G$ is a consequence of the fact that, if $C$ is geometrically split and $(\mathfrak F',\mathfrak F)$ is any reasonable pair of families of subgroups of $G$, then there is a splitting of the cofibre sequence $(E\mathfrak F_+ \wedge C)^\Pi \longrightarrow (E\mathfrak F'_+ \wedge C)^\Pi \longrightarrow (E(\mathfrak F', \mathfrak F) \wedge C)^\Pi$ constructed from the universal spaces for the families. Both the decomposition of the group $[B,C]_G$ and the splitting of the cofibre sequence are proven here not just for complete $G$-universes, but for arbitrary $G$-universes. Various technical results about incomplete $G$-universes that should be of independent interest are also included in this paper. These include versions of the Adams and Wirthmuller isomorphisms for incomplete universes. Also included is a vanishing theorem for the fixed-point spectrum $(E(\mathfrak F',\mathfrak F) \wedge C)^\Pi$ which gives computational force to the intuition that what really matters about a $G$-universe $U$ is which orbits $G/H$ embed as $G$-spaces in $U$.

Book Description :

Forget everything you were taught, forget everything you heard, just forget everything you thought you knew about love. What you are about to hear will change your heart forever. What if we found someone that was true to love and characterized the nature of pure love itself? Then you would have Angel, and oh how she would save, restore, heal and guide one's heart to that perfect nature once again. This will test the knight's beliefs, love and allegiance to his queen. The angel will reestablish the principles of love, restore its hierarchy and carry its very flag. The knight's beliefs will be turned upside down with a new, angelic gospel. Behold! In truth, the knight is about to be set free. In faith, he is about to grow wings. In love, he is about to soar and you are invited to go with him. If you follow the angel's gospel, you also, will never be in want of the spiritual fruits again - ever. Let Angel tell it, where they are and how to gain an eternal supply and never see the lack of love again, no matter who you think may be holding its supply. In the end you will share love's entire storehouse and enjoy its eternal victory. Don't settle for just winning a heart, but in love, conquer. Visit thelovescrolls.com for more.

Splitting Supersonic Nozzle Flow Into Separate Jets by Overexpansion Into a Multilobed Divergent Nozzle

Book Description :

Air flowing from a convergent nozzle at pressure ratios greater than 2.5 has been split into eight separate jets by overexpansion of the flow into a divergent, eight-lobed passage. The splitting of the flow is accompanied by a decrease in the nozzle axial centerline Mach number. This in part is due to the radial inflow of secondary air between the lobes toward the nozzle centerline. Each of the smaller jets is partially split after it leaves the end of the divergent lobed section of the nozzle, thus creating a velocity profile having 16 peaks. At a pressure ratio of 3.5 the flow decelerates to Mach 1 in three convergent nozzle throat diameters. Convergent nozzle flow normally requires 12 diameters to reach Mach 1. The nozzle has a sound attenuation of 12 decibels with a thrust loss of 9 percent for the best configuration tested.

Book Description :

In this text we take up the problem of the splitting of invariant manifolds in multidimensional Hamiltonian systems, stressing the canonical features of the problem. We first conduct a geometric study, which for a large part is not restricted to the perturbative situation of near-integrable systems. This point of view allows us to clarify some previously obscure points, in particular the symmetry and variance properties of the splitting matrix (indeed its very definition(s)) and more generally the connection with symplectic geometry. Using symplectic normal forms, we then derive local exponential upper bounds for the splitting matrix in the perturbative analytic case, under fairly general circumstances covering in particular resonances of any multiplicity. The next technical input is the introduction of a canonically invariant scheme for the computation of the splitting matrix. It is based on the familiar Hamilton-Jacobi picture and thus again is symplectically invariant from the outset. It is applied here to a standard Hamiltonian exhibiting many of the important features of the problem and allows us to explore in a unified way the question of finding lower bounds for the splitting matrix, in particular that of justifying a first order computation (the so-called Poincare-Melnikov approximation). Although we do not specifically address the issue in this paper we mention that the problem of the splitting of the invariant manifold is well-known to be connected with the existence of a global instability in these multidimensional Hamiltonian systems and we hope the present study will ultimately help shed light on this important connection first noted and explored by V. I. Arnold.

Book Description :

Jehovah's Witnesses are possibly one of the most persecuted Christian organizations in the 20th century. How the Witnesses shape their response to persecution is invariably associated with the social reality they construct in their rhetorical practices. This is a descriptive analysis and interpretation of the social reality constructed by the discourse of the Jehovah Witnesses, utilizing a qualitative-interpretive approach for exploration into a social reality. The purpose is to determine how the textual and contextual reality of Jehovah's Witnesses influences their lives and courses of action, how discursive practices are fundamental to their understanding of themselves and others.
